Fields Footwear on News12 New Jersey

News Reporter (Studio):

A children’s shoe company is teaming up with a sensory gym to provide parents with information about proper foot health. Fields Footwear visited 1 Gym 4 All in Waldwick, as the gym is designed for children with, or without, disabilities.

Visitors received a discount on admissions and purchases when they bought in a pair of new, or gently-used, shoes. Those pairs were donated to Oasis, a shelter for women and children.

Dr. Laura Santos (Owner/Developer):

We’re here talking about children's foot health and sizing children for a new pair of Fields Footwear for back-to-school. And we were also able to pay-it-forward by bringing in new, or slightly-used, pairs of shoes for Oasis, which is a shelter for women and children here in Northern New Jersey.

News Reporter (Studio):

Now the owners and the developers use their backgrounds in medicine to come up with the most optimal shoe design for children. Each pair of Fields Footwear is handmade in Spain, by the way. They feature a see-through sole that takes the guesswork out of fitting children for shoes.
